Company / Leadership

The people who
answer for it.

Four people, between them, are responsible for where DirecOne is going, how the floor runs each day, and how technology is used on it. Two have spent decades in customer operations. You will meet them, not an account manager.

Peter Gillette

Chairman

Chairman of DirecOne and of the Gillette Group, which he has led through four decades of Caribbean growth.

After studying Civil Engineering at Cornell University, Peter returned to Trinidad and co-founded Computers and Controls Ltd, the Gillette Group's flagship company. Over four decades he has led its expansion into telecommunications, internet services, broadcasting, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate and financial services, across four countries. He has served on state boards including TIDCO and the Chaguaramas Development Authority, and is a former Chairman of the Trinidad and Tobago Free Zones Company. As Group Chairman he oversees its technology-enabled businesses, DirecOne among them.

Paige Gillette

Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer

Leads strategy and business development, widening DirecOne's client base and guiding its move into AI.

Paige leads DirecOne's work to diversify its client portfolio and to bring AI and automation into the way the company serves customers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, where she was an Omnicom Fellow. Her earlier career was in fixed-income and emerging markets, as a Director at Liquidity Finance and as an Associate Director and Trader at Oppenheimer & Co. She is also a co-founder of SageImpact, an AI strategy consultancy for smaller businesses, which gives her a practical view of how AI is adopted and where it earns its place.

Marc Holder

General Manager, Operations

More than thirty years in customer experience, and responsible for how the floor performs every day.

Marc has spent more than thirty years in customer experience, over eighteen of them managing high-volume contact centres. He works as an analyst as much as a manager: studying how an operation performs, then changing its processes and systems to meet its targets. His experience covers operations, quality, analytics, project management, and client and vendor relations. Earlier, at TSTT, he managed the upgrade of the contact centre systems and led the move from analogue to digital services, work recognised with a Customer Experience and Corporate Marketing Excellence Award in 2010.

Omari Felix

General Manager, Administration

With DirecOne since it opened in 2000, and now responsible for technology and governance.

Omari has worked in customer service, retention, training and operations, which gives him a ground-up view of the company. He led the redesign of DirecOne's IT governance and contributed to its information security framework. He now leads its digital initiatives, from business intelligence dashboards and predictive analytics to AI tools that support, rather than replace, the people doing the work. He holds an MBA in Digital Technology Management from the University of Bedfordshire and a Strategic Management credential from the Wharton School. His remit also covers new business, contracts, budgets and facilities.
